We were passing Selfridges on a recent research trip and had to have the obligatory look across the windows displays. ‘No Noise’ is the current concept, and this title threw up some intriguing interpretations of silence, audible and visual, but this one was my favourites; It posses an interesting question about the strength of an established brand, even down to a single asset such as a colour. Everybody knows the Selfridges yellow…

Penguin for Selfridges
Friday, June 15th, 2012Egelnick and Webb client Penguin books have designed two limited editions of The Time Machine and Oliver Twist for Selfridges in the typical bright Selfridges yellow. Such a colourful treat for a rainy Sunday.

Thursday, February 2nd, 2012We have just taken delivery of a beautiful invitation we designed for Martine Rose. Martine shot to fame after being part of the Selfridges Bright Young Things project.
We printed a single colour onto metallic ‘Peregrina Majestic’ stock, with the typography alluding to the female form.
Bompas & Parr
Thursday, August 18th, 2011Bompas & Parr design the most spectacular jelly I have ever come across. They work on a huge scale and are ‘keen to explore how the taste of the food is altered through synaesthesia, performance and setting’.
They have worked with Heston Blumenthal, MOMA, BBC, Disney and Selfridges, where my favourite event took place. Bompas & Parr created a boating lake on Selfridges roof, complete with 12 rowing boats, a gushing waterfall, a life guard and cocktails.
